so i suppose i should talk about my trip to philly/nyc from last month..
i went the last weekend of october to philadelphia and new york city with my parents and sister. the night before i got really drunk and passed out for 11 hours until we got there. my parents asked if i was a little on the tipsy side when i woke up, it was a good time. haha.
philly- we did a lot of the historical aspect of it and whatnot. we saw where the constitution was signed and went on all these little tours. we did this hour long carriage ride and the guy was really funny. he even stopped just to show me where the real world philly house was. it was a freakin old bank. yeah, i know. it's nuts. i always wondered why it was so big. my visit to south street was a little one but it's okay. my parents knew i was a little unhappy because i spend so much time with my friends and i was away from them so they let me go and visit with alex&kerri. can you say overly happy? because i can. they took me to meet becky then we headed over to nifty fifties, which is so cute. it's kinda like steak n' shake but way cuter. those two make me die of laughter.
New York City- my parents also know that i can't do the whole historical thing over and over again like they keep having us do so they decided to surprise me and my sister with a day trip to NYC. can you say ecstatic? because i can. haha. i've been wanting to go since i was really little. it was not a letdown. it's a really fast paced city. you can be an asshole AND IT'S OKAY. i just visited time square but it's okay. that taste was enough to get me hooked. we drove around FOREVER trying to find betsy johnson in soho because my parents weren't listening to me when i told them where to go. it's cool, i got a REALLY cute dress and a really cute new purse since my coach one got ruined. i'm a little in love.
i, for some reason, haven't uploaded my pictures yet. i just checked my photobucket and could have sworn i did but i'll put them up, don't worry.
on a lighter note, my thanksgiving was nice. i watched love actually twice, whoops. haha. my mom kicked everyone out of my house on saturday for drinking. it was rather embarressing. i was in a little trouble but managed to sneak alex over anyway. whoops. haha. guitar hero is a new addiction and i like it. haha. my uncle is taking me and taylor to new york city in march since he never bought me a birthday present :D i can't wait. austin hates me and i don't care. i meant to sleep for an hour tonight and managed to wake up at two and i was like "...well, it's not nine..." oh well. i must depart :)

no gym class last night. oh well, i can move on. not that sad. to be honest, i'd rather have not been there.
friday-smoothie king with sam and then movie night at carrie's. good talks, bad movie choice. why? i chose garden state and that's so not good when you really want someone. haha. i'm stupid.
saturday-went and worked out, got ditched so i called laura and kristi and we had a girls night. cosmo, ice cream and stick it! it was so much fun. we dropped kristi off at 11:20ish and then we went to jonathan's house from 11:30ish-3:30 this morning. came back here, watched some wild n' out and then went to bed at 4:30. gotten woken up at 7:50ish by sam asking if i wanted to go to the sox game today. i was all alright, sweet. went back to bed, got up at 11, went and picked everyone up and went to the game. right behind the dugout. sweeeet. it was so much fun. now i'm going to do my homework and then go and see jackass 2 with laura since jeff couldn't hangout friday.
all in all, i had a damn good weekend.
i just discovered that on the 8th, self against city is coming to chicago. yeah, mel..i said it. I'M SO DAMN EXCITED. only i already have a good charlotte ticket but that's not going to bother me because you know what? i'm just going to go to both. self against is the first band a couple blocks over so i'm going to go see them, then shoot over to good charlotte at metro. i'm so excited it might hurt a little inside.
this new crush is working out really well. jonathan talked to be about it last night and he made me feel a lot more comfortable and a lot more confident about it. i just hope history doesn't repeat itself and we have another austin sitch. shitty.

you've read about the people and the obsessions, now read about the fun! there's a ton of pictures to please your eyes. no, i didn't go to as many shows as you did. no, i don't care. i had an amazing year with the most amazing friends. i love who i met and hung out with this year. new experiences and new outlook. i wouldn't change 2005 at all.
